Install a Thawte SGC (Server Gated Cryptography SSL) Supercert in Novell Console One

Install Thawte SGC (Server Gated Cryptography SSL) Supercert in Novell Console One
How do I install a Thawte SGC (Server Gated Cryptography SSL) Supercert on Novell Console One

To install a Thawte SGC (Server Gated Cryptography SSL) Supercert on Novell Console One, perform the following steps:

Step1. Download your Thawte certificate
1. You will receive an email when your certificate is issued.
2. Download your certificate as per the instruction on the following solution: SO13187
3. Select the 'PKCS#7' format option and click Pick Up certificate
Step2. Install your Thawte SGC (Server Gated Cryptography SSL) Supercert
Go to Console One and to the private key that created the Certificate Signing Request (CSR). Go to the Public Key Certificate Tab. Select Import, select "No Trusted Root Certificate available", and then next. Import the Server Certificate that you created above.
Test your certificate by using a browser to connect to your server. Use the https protocol directive (e.g. https://your server/) to indicate you wish to use secure HTTP or our certificate installation checker on the following solution: SO9555
Note: The padlock icon on your browser will be displayed in the locked position if your certificates are installed correctly and the server is properly configured for SSL.
IMPORTANT: Your certificate must be imported as a single PKCS#7 file. The single PKCS#7 file must contain all of the certificates to be imported into the object (the root CA certificate, the chained root CA certificate and also your server certificate).
