Field Symbols in the Details of a Certificate (Microsoft)
When looking at the details tab of a certificate in Microsoft Windows, many of the fields
have a symbol next to the field name. This symbol can look one of four ways which is defined
by the Certificate Authority. Below is a list of these symbols.
indicates an X.509 Version 1 field.
indicates a non critical X.509 Version 3 extension.
indicates a critical X.509 Version 3 extension.
indicates a property associated with the certificate that can be modified.
