Use the following to install a RapidSSL SSL certificate on a RhinoSoft Serv-U Server.
Part 1: Download the RapidSSL Intermediate CA Certificates
Download the Intermediate CA certificate for the order. Save the Intermediate CA certificate using Notepad or Vi with a .pem extension.
Part 2: Download and Save the RapidSSL Certificate
Using Notepad or Vi, save the certificate from the approval email with a .crt extension.
Part 3: Install the RapidSSL and Intermediate CA Certificates to RhinoSoft Serv-U Server
- Open the Serv-U Management Console, then click the Limits & Settings.
- Click the Encryption tab.
- Enter the details required in the SSL Certificate (for FTPS and HTTPS) menu.
Certificate Path: Specify the path to the RapidSSL certificate (.crt) file from Part 2 above, or click on the browse icon in order to browse to the file path.
Private Key Path: Specify the path to the Private Key (.key) file that was created during the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) generation, or click on the browse icon in order to browse to the file path.
Password: Enter the password that was created to protect the Private Key during the CSR generation.
CA (Certificate Authority) Certificate Path: Specify the path to the Intermediate CA certificates from Part 1 above, or click on the browse icon in order to browse to the file path.
- Click Save.
Note: Ensure your FTPS and/or HTTPS listeners are configured.
