Error: "Error 30ab - Valid or Pending ID exists" when Replacing a Managed PKI for SSL Administrator ID

Scenario

When trying to replace Managed PKI Administrator ID, you may receive the following error message:

Error 30ab - Valid or Pending ID exists
Description

A valid or pending replacement ID for this Administrator already exists.


Error occurs during a replacement of Managed PKI for SSL Administrator ID

Cause

This problem occurs if any of the following conditions are true:

  • An Administrator ID has been issued and has not yet been picked up.
  • There is more than one valid Administrator ID that exists with the same information.

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Verify if an existing Administrator ID request is already pending

To determine if there is a pending Administrator ID and to request the certificate to be issued, please contact the Enterprise Authentication Service department using the following link below:

Method 2: To revoke a Managed PKI for SSL Administrator ID

If there are one or more valid Administrator IDs that has been issued, revoke the oldest Administrator ID that is about to expire as described in solution  SO6295.
