Disable GTD for a Domain

Overview

This tutorial walks you through the process of disabling Global Traffic Director (GTD) for a domain.


How to Disable Global Traffic Director in Constellix

  1. Navigate to Managed DNS > Domains 

    After logging in to the Constellix DNS dashboard, select Managed DNS on the left-hand side menu to expand options and then click Domains



  2. Select Your Domain 

    Select the domain that no longer requires GTD. 



  3. Click Disable Global Traffic Director 

    Next, click the green Advanced Settings button on the right-hand side of the domain dashboard, and then select Disable Global Traffic Director from the dropdown list.  



    Note: Once you disable GTD, all regionally configured records except the Default record will automatically be deleted. 

  4. Confirm 

    After selecting Disable Global Traffic Director, you will be prompted to confirm the action. Click the green OK button to finish. 



    Note: In order for this change to take effect, you must review and apply changes.

 

Once you have committed your changes, GTD will be disabled for this domain.
