Solution

QuoVadis does not support the use of third party signing software.  This document has been created purely to aid with customers testing signing capability.

1. Download the standalone signing tool from this link:
   https://ec.europa.eu/cefdigital/DSS/webapp-demo/signature-standalone
   
   Below is a screenshot of the tool and the settings used to create individual XAdES signatures (detached)
   
   You can sign either PDF or XML files using this method.  The resulting file will be an xml file.
2. To validate the file click on the below link:
   https://ec.europa.eu/cefdigital/DSS/webapp-demo/certificate-validation
3. Check the validation for basic signatures option:
   
   The image below shows the result:
