Please make the following changes to the security settings of the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser:
- Open Internet Explorer
- From the menu bar, click Tools > Internet Options > Security
- In the Security tab, click the Custom Level button
- Under ActiveX controls and plug-ins, set the following ActiveX options:
- Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls: Enable
- Binary and script behaviors: Enable
- Download signed ActiveX controls: Prompt
- Download unsigned ActiveX controls: Prompt
- Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked safe: Prompt
- Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: Enable
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting: Enable
- Under Downloads the settings should be:
- Automatic prompting for file downloads: Enable
- File Download: Enable
- Click OK > OK
- Close the Internet Explorer windows
For Internet Explorer 9 and later, you must also disable ActiveXFiltering, if turned on, see: Enable ActiveX Controls in Internet Explorer
Note: If the enrollment still does not work correctly it could be due to a cache issue. If any additional problems occur please clear the browser cache.
- Open Internet Explorer
- From the menu bar, click Tools > Internet Options > General
- Under the section "Browsing history" select the "Delete" button
- Check the following box:
- Temporary Internet files
- Cookies
- History
- Form data
- Passwords
- InPrivate Filtering data
- Select Delete button
- Once the cache is cleared, close and re-open Internet Explorer and attempt the enrollment again.
