Partial Completion of Discovery Scan Issue

Sometimes a scan will be complete, but only partially due to insufficient time allocated to the scan.


Ensure that your scan period under the scan settings is enough to complete the required scan period.

If you have an IP address range of /16 and your scan period is 1 hour, the allocated time frame provided for this will not be enough to complete a scan on the entire IP address range. Provide sufficient time in such situations to prevent partial scan completion issues.

To set up these scan settings, navigate to Discovery Manage Discovery > Click on scan name > Scan Settings > choose the time frame you wish for the scan to terminate as per the below screenshot:
