As part of our commitment to continued innovation and to improving the stability and availability of mission-critical systems, DigiCert is increasing the number of redundancies across our systems and reducing single points of failure.

As part of this effort, DigiCert will require customers using the CIS Platform API to update API endpoint URLs.

Customers must update Certificate Issuing Service (CIS) Platform API endpoint URLs by September 3, 2025, at 10:00 MDT (16:00 UTC).  

This update will enhance our ongoing effort to minimize downtime and increase system stability. 

What do you need to do? 

To ensure uninterrupted service, all CIS endpoint URLs that begin with the ws or www hostname in your platform/cis integration must be updated to certcentral before September 3 at 10:00 MDT. 

For example, the CIS API endpoints 

https://ws.digicert.com/platform/cis/certificate  

and  

https://www.digicert.com/platform/cis/certificate  

must be updated to:  

https://certcentral.digicert.com/platform/cis/certificate.
