Code Signing Certificate Compatibility

DigiCert Code Signing Certificates can be used to sign any type of code that requires a code signing certificate, including Microsoft Authenticode, Microsoft Office VBA, Java, Adobe AIR, Apple's Mac OS, and Mozilla objects. While any modern system will automatically trust DigiCert certificates, there are a few exceptions listed below.

If your platform is not listed, there is still a good chance it is supported. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have a question about compatibility.  

Platforms

• Any Microsoft operating system since Windows XP Service Pack 2
• Microsoft Office VBA
• Mac OS X 10.5+
• Adobe AIR on Windows and Mac OS
• Java
• Mozilla Firefox 4+

Incompatibilities

There are a few known incompatibilities. We are currently working to increase the compatibility for these platforms.
